In acronyms, WBA (LH:1), short for “WayBack active”, refers the date when a given website was either first crawled by the WayBack Machine of Internet Archive, or the date range when the site was active.

Overivew

The code “2013 (WBA: Aug 20)” for the website[1] LifeDoesNotExist.com, e.g. means that the site was first crawled by the WayBack machine on 20 Aug 2013; and if no end date is given, it means the site is still active online.[2] Generally, a site tends to be online for six months, give or take, prior to it being crawled.
