In terms, thing (TR:474) (LH:23) (TL:497), from Greek th- meaning "heat, sun, or sun god" + -ing meaning "action or process connected with (prefix)", refers to entity, typically one with mass, or not, e.g. a vacuum or void, that has or had existence.
