In terms, exothermic (TR:5) (LH:8) (TL:13), Greek –exo, meaning: “outside”, + -therme, meaning: “heat, warm”, + -ic, meaning: “of, related”, a refers to a reaction or process that releases heat, from the system to the surroundings.[1]
