In terms, endergonic (TR:51) (LH:11) (TL:62), from Greek endo-, meaning: “turning inward”, + -ergon, meaning: “work”, + -ic, meaning: "of or related to", is a reaction or process that requires or absorbs energy in the form of work, quantified by a positive change in Gibbs energy (ΔG > 0) for the process.
