Gustave le Bon
(1841-1931)
IQ real 135+.png 1.50 90 Social psychologist, sociologist, anthropologist, inventor, and amateur physicist;
“What really takes place, in crowds, is a combination followed by the creation of new characteristics, just as in chemistry certain elements, when brought into contact, e.g. bases and acids, combine to form a new body possessing properties quite different from those of the bodies that have served to form it.”
— Gustave le Bons (1895), The Crowd (pg. #)

Noted for his 1895 The Crowd, wherein he employs chemical and electromagnetic logic to describe "crowds" as a type of chemical transition state; rare HC pioneer; added at 130+|#758 (12 Oct 2020).

— Malcolm X (1964), “Speech at the Founding Rally of the Organization of Afro-American Unity”, Jun 28 (Ѻ)

At age 20, with only an 8th grade education, while in prison, taught himself (Ѻ) to read, write and speak English, by copying page after page from a dictionary into his notebook, A through Z; his Autobiography of Malcolm X (1865) is said to “blow people away”, particularly in the context of his genius (Ѻ).

(1990-)
IQ real 130+.png

IQ O.png=200[9]

Physicist, economic thermodynamicist, lawyer, and political advisor; noted for his age 20 penned 2010 “A Thermal Model of the Economy”, his MS thesis in physics, wherein, platforming on Roegen (1971), Mimkes (2008), and Samuelson (1970), he discerns the idea that "value" is a function of low entropy, formulated as follows:
Value = low entropy.png

and, on this basis, outlines a social services model of value; a ranked “smartest person existive” (2016).[2]

M Puerto Rican

Existive IQs, as has been learned (Thims, 2015), cannot be added to non-existive IQs (historical IQs), as the result yields existive-based biased nonsense.[10]

Notes

A summary of 139 or below IQs (from here).

Note one: from 1995 to 2010, the genius listings were confined to those cited at IQ 200 or above (amounting to about 40 geniuses, existive and historical). In Oct 2011, the “genius IQs” page (the forerunner to the top 1000 geniuses rankings) was started, wherein the inclusion requirement was an IQ citation of 140 or above (or equivalent justification).[10] The following is the CBPT IQ ruler, which shows the general spectrum of the genius mindset range:

CBPT IQ ruler.png

Note two: the previous wiki-based version of the list, prior to its migration to this wiki (above listings), as of Aug 2020, had about 850 geniuses (750+ ranked and 100+ candidates); with about 500 names in backlog.[11]

IQ:120-139 range

Note three: on 16 Oct 2020, the bottom IQ cutoff of 140+, the definition of "genius", per Terman (1916) definition, of the top 1000 genius table, was extended down to the "notable" seeming "very superior intelligences" range of minds, in the IQ:120-139 range, as defined adjacent, so to incorporate newer "green" geniuses, and or potential genius candidates, generally without previous "genius" level classification (or genius IQ calculation), in the slating state (may possibly be ranked into the top 1000 genius position, given further time and digestion these amassing "missing candidates"), began to be attached to the lower end of the top 1000 geniuses table, either in the first-draft IQ:120 or above range group, or in the lower genius range (140+). This was done, so to facilitate the organization of the scattered mass of growing Hmolpedia-connected collection of seeming “sharp minds” (previously precluded from the list, per lack of previous categorizational “genius” citation). The general idea here being that when the list grows to say 3,000+ names (or more), then a more realistic “pressure” will exist, in respect to the ranking of the top 1,000 names.
